About Pawfect Manners
Pawfect Manners is owned and operated by Linda Barrett. Linda has owned dogs all her life and has in excess of 20 years experience training dogs and helping owners solve their dog’s behaviour problems.
Linda has also taken formal training. She has:
Been Nationally Accredited as a Dog Trainer holding a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training, National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF)
Completed the Lifestyle Communication Courses (Advanced Level)
Started to undertake and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management
Linda is a member of the:
Australian Association of Professional Dog Trainers Incorporated (AAPDT) and is an accredited Dog Obedience Trainer approved by the Minister for Agriculture under this Organisation.

The Pawfect Manners Team take their job seriously and keep up to date with all the latest studies and research in dog training and behaviour therapy by:
Attending seminars and workshops
Undertaking extensive reading of industry-respected authors
Networking with other professional dog trainers and behaviour specialists, both in Australia and overseas
Linda also volunteers with a local rescue organisation. She provides assessments and works through any behaviour problems with dogs who have become homeless, usually through no fault of their own. Linda assists in matching the right owner to the right dog so that they find a forever home. This is just another example of her affinity for and natural ability with dogs.
Linda has owned a multitude of dogs over the years and various breeds of dogs, including: Dobermans, Rottweilers, Labradors, German Shepherds, Cavaliers and mixed breed dogs. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a dog owner, as well as a trainer.
